original Omaha in the Alpha when bodies didn't disappear. Notice the axis on top of the bunkers.



Alpha had a lot of problems, I think people tend to forget but some are obvious when you look back over at the bugs that actually have been fixed in this game... not the least of which was the famous map animation crash.

And this one from earlier in the thread:

Notice you can see kill reports in the Alpha, they're just blacked out in the bottom of the screen.

I positioned this MGer here on a public game on Falaise and he stayed there. He was there for about 20 minutes, never killed and lasted through the entire round after both teams ran out of spawn tickets. He probably wasted at least 20 allies, if I had to guess, possibly a lot more. I was so proud

Reason why there should be more prop_physics on the maps. I don't get it why most of the stuffed is rigged to the floors and you can't barricade.

Every map would start like this if all maps were like Hill. If you want both teams to lose all cohesion and sprint wildly at each other throwing grenades (AKA DoD), make "meeting engagement" maps.
